Airdrie Olympic Torch Relay, was a wonderful event to attend. We were fortunate to have a nice mild night about -2 Celsius for the event, and it seemed like a very large portion of Airdrie residents were out to see the Torch pass and be passed. We started our wait for the Torch at East Lake Blvd. and Thorburn drive and slowly moved down toward Genesis Place where the Festivities began at 5 pm with local Alberta Country Singer Corb Lund. . . . Calgary Housing Market Rebound Continues
The Calgary housing market continued to rebound in October, according to figures released by the Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB®). “Calgary’s housing market has clearly turned a corner,” says Bonnie Wegerich, president of CREB®. “We expect there to be a few bumps on this road to recovery but we believe the worst is over.
